We love our West Point Families! Welcome to Garrison Woods Getaway, enjoy an incredible view of West Point right across the Hudson River from the 1K sq ft expansive deck. A scenic drive 18 short miles to campus, Garrison Woods is a 2 acre private compound featuring a main house and cottage with robust pollinator gardens, and a variety of beautiful trees, hydrangea and rose bushes throughout. The last house at the end of the cul de sac and down a private dirt road, we are located off of the areas historic dirt roads, Old Albany Post etc., welcome to heaven! Bordering Fahenstock state park providing access to the countries best hiking trails, the property has been enjoyed by short term renters and west point families for years.

Owned by a military family and operated by a beloved local Hudson Valley rental company specializing in guest experience, with 5K sq ft we can sleep 12 comfortably (14 with pull out sofa) in 2 king en suites, a queen bed with mountain view, a lovely bunk bed room that sleeps 4, and a separate cottage providing a queen bed in a private loft and a queen sofa bed pullout downstairs, 4.5 bathrooms .

The compound provides magical communal spaces for bonding indoors and outdoors, as well as nooks and escapes for privacy and maximum comfort. A brand new chefs kitchen, propane gas grill, fire pit, and stylish outdoor seating and dining table, watch the beautiful hummingbirds and celebrate this momentous occasion with your special group while enjoying a pristine mountain view that goes on for miles. Garrison Woods is in the final stages of completing a lovely new in ground swimming pool scheduled to be open in a few weeks in time for graduation. Listing will be updated once officially opened to confirm accessibility. The rate reflects no pool and access would be at no additional charge pending official opening. We welcome and make accommodations for young children and pets.

We are only a short 10-minute drive to Cold Spring and 35 minutes to the USMA in West Point. In fact, the rear side of the Main House overlooks West Point. On the Fourth of July, we have great views of their fireworks display!
